![]() ![]() Orange is the traditional lightning colour for The Flash in the comics as he draws upon the Speed Force for his powers. Why do the Barrys have different lightning colours? There are other DC Comics live-action titles, so where are the heroes from the Arrowverse TV universe? What about Ryan Reynolds’ Green Lantern? Linda Carter’s Wonder Woman? In the third action as the multiverse is imploding, we see different realms of Hypertine and catch Christopher Reece and Helen Slater as Superman and Supergirl from the first modern Superman film franchise Nicholas Cage as Superman from the cancelled Superman Lives movie, and Adam West’s TV Batman. Where are the heroes from the Arrowverse? The movie got canned and Cage never got to play a DC hero, but since this is a multiversal movie, why not explore and see what Cage might actually be like if he became the last son of Krypton? This may come to a surprise but donkey years ago, Tim Burton wanted to make his own Superman movie with Cage in the lead role. So how many Flashes are there then and how strong are they? Does a Flash exist in every universe and if not, what then happens to Barry Allen?įollowing up on our previous question, some folks are likely stunned and flabbergasted to see Cage wear the blue suit and red cape. As for Batman, we know that every universe explored in the movie has one. And of course, we know DCU has a Superman too. We saw Christopher Reeves and Nicolas Cage’s Superman in the other universe, but in that universe, Superman didn’t even make it out alive as an infant. We saw in the film’s climax that there are many universes that exist. Maybe Multiverse Flash is much stronger than DCU Flash, and that’s a pretty interesting route to go because it makes us wonder…. Multiverse Flash is a lot more immature and isn’t as bright as DCU’s Flash After all, he’s only 18 and can’t even comb his hair or do his own laundry, but somehow he’s able to learn all the tricks and master the powers that DCU Flash took 10 years to learn. How does Multiverse Flash gain control of his powers so quickly? Also, why make a big deal and debut a character only to kill them after? We understand that it’s the multiverse so Calle’s Supergirl can appear again in future movies but still! What a disservice to the character. Frankly speaking, we were crushed when Supergirl was killed because we felt like there was so much potential for the character. Speaking about being alive, Sasha Calle made her debut, only to die in the movie’s final moments. Yet, Barry can run fast enough to break the time barrier! Does it mean that Henry Cavill’s Superman can also run fast enough to change the timeline so that he is brought back to the new DC Studios?Īre we ever going to see Sasha Calle’s Supergirl again? In Justice League, the Flash zips by Superman after his resurrection but is spotted by Kal-El, who moves faster and is able to stop Barry. Seeing how he’s fast enough to be his own mode of transport, why did the two Barrys need Batman’s (Keaton) plane to get to Russia? Can’t one Barry carry the other Barry and run to the country? Seems like it would be a lot faster than waiting around to change Batman’s mind about helping and then fly the vehicle over. Barry reluctantly left his plans and ran all the way to Gotham. In the earlier part of the movie, Flash/Barry received a call from Alfred (Jeremy Irons) to help Batman (Ben Affleck) in Gotham City. If Flash can run to Gotham City, why can’t he run to Russia or to anywhere else in the world? Here goes – here are 10 questions we have after watching The Flash. ![]() ![]() It goes without saying that you can expect minor spoilers ahead, so slow down and read when you’re ready to. Between Michael Keaton’s return as Batman, Ezra Miller’s quirks as Flash/Barry Allen and the debut of Sasha Calle’s Supergirl, there’s plenty to look forward to – and also question – in this 2 hour and 35 mins movie. ![]()
